When we are old, all sort of sickness start creeping in. I have been spending most of my time at the hospital, checking either this or that. I don't mind since I got nothing to do. Whichever part of my body is not well, I need to repair it. At every visit, I am sure to visit the canteen as I enjoy the food there too.

This morning I was there to see a eye specialist. My next operation date for cataract is in October, as the doctor's appointment is full until October. Mind you this is my 3rd eye operation for this year. Before CNY I had an operation for gloucoma in the left eye. Followed by another operation last month at the right eye, also for gloucoma. Now, cataract set in at the left eye, and my goodness I have to do a cataract operation on the left eye.

Currently, my sight is not so good. I go out less often unless necessary. Formerly I used to go out often doing social work. Now I stopped that, and take care of my own self instead. Luckily I still have my other activities that keep me busy. I have 3 dance lessons and one singing lesson per week. This does not involve much eyesight where I can still manage to enjoy myself.

Thank goodness, I am not working. I manage to survive somehow or other. Life is still good, and I am still smiling.
